Mind Slip

Sad news recently that I completely forgot to mention on here.
English Doom titans Olde Crone are, sadly, no more. Their debut LP on psycheDOOMelic was one of the highlights of this year, and I'm a bit sad that I won't get to see the likes of Blue Iris or Norse Torch played live now. Ah well, I can always turn down the lights, turn up the death decks and enjoy with some Oktoberfestbier.

I'm sure Lyndon, Foxy and the lads have got something rotten planned for the future...

Straight From Thee Shire

This morning a parcel arrived from the lovely folk at PsycheDOOMelic Records, via those likely lads of the Shire, Olde Crone (top ale drinkers and leaf smokers)... including their rifftastic debut LP.

What we've got here, you lovely people, is over an hour of Sabbath/Wizard/Goblin style riffing with rolling drums and psychedelic passages.
Boss biker bellowing from vocalist Lyndon, massive, massive riffs from Foxy and Dicky with Mark Greening style drumming from Fyfe holding it all together.
A trip to the Shire where the hobbits will tell you about the legend of Suspiria... you can't go wrong.
Just in time for thee Summer ov Doom - Thee Claw recommends!
I've got a couple of bottles of Löwenbräu Oktoberfestbier cooling for when I listen again in the dark.

Using this quiet time to try and help out some friends.....

"Olde Crone are still waiting to hear from all you budding drummers and guitarists to join Olde Crone.

We have had some people saying they wouldn't be able to do Foxy's Solos or some of the beats Fyfe has created. We are looking for people who can get close and even add there own touch to whats already down and open to suggestion. So if you know anybody male/female or yourself male/female want to give it a go please contact us and we will go from there.


The album is due out soon and we will update you on that as soon as we know anything.
